Q. Is the site noisy?

A. The site is busy but peaceful. Although there are many facilities on site our cottages are built out of earshot of any noise so this should not be a problem.

Q. Is it close to the beach?

A. The nearest beaches are at Hayle Towans 5 minutes away by car. There are more than 5 miles of beaches here so you should find a place to put your towel! Also, the whole of the West Cornwall peninsula is within a short travelling distance from the holiday cottages so you have a wide variety of beaches to choose from. Secluded, surfing and busy family beaches are all close by.

Q. Where is the best place to surf and fish ?

A. Everyone has their own opinion. This is because the places to surf and fish are almost countless and really the best places change with the seasons and the weather. You will always find a local willing to offer their advice!

Q. What do I have to bring with me?

A. All cottages are fully equipped with the basics. However you will need to bring your own towels and it may be advisable to bring washing up liquid, a dishcloth and a toilet roll. There is a shop on site in case you forget anything.

Q. Is everything included in the price?

A. The price includes the hire of the cottage, electricity, and use of all the facilities. There are no hidden charges. You will only need to bring enough holiday money to spend on food, yourself and to have a good time!

Q. Can I take a pet?

A. Yes, but dogs are subject to an extra charge of £15.

Q. Do you provide a cot?

A. Cots are available for loan. It would be advisable to arrange this with us in advance if you do not intend to bring a cot but require one.

Q. Where is the nearest railway station?

A. St Erth, this is on the main line to Penzance and is a few miles from the site.

Q. How do I pay for my holiday cottage?

A. 25% deposit is required with the balance due a month before arrival by cash or by cheque. We also accept all major credit cards.

Q. How will I get the key to my holiday cottage?

A. You can pick up your key from reception. You will get all the details about your holiday cottage at least a week before arrival. If you need to make a special arrangement just telephone the number at the bottom of the page.
